Some Options in Large Family Camping Tents

from:

Camping with the family is one of the most popular vacation options. It is less expensive than more resort like trips and the slower pace allows for more interaction among the family members. Many larger families wonder how they can make this all-American activity work for them with a tent designed for 3 or 4 people. The answer is that they can’t. Fortunately a lot of camping equipment manufacturers have responded to the dilemma and now offer large family camping tents as part of the product lines. With careful consideration and learning about the various tents, large families can make a good decision on which tent will work best for them.

Families that really, really like spending time together may like the Coleman Lakeside tent. Large family camping tents like this one are becoming more popular than ever. It can sleep up to 8 people comfortably and equipped with fiberglass poles for stability. Another handy feature of this tent is the built in rain gear provided for protection from wet weather.

If your family is into extreme weather camping, then the Kelty Manta should be part of the large family camping tents list. This tent was specially designed to handle all weather conditions with the exception of winter. So spring, summer, and fall are all covered. It features an exceptionally made floor that is designed to stop any water or moisture from leaking in through the floor. It also has two doors and excellent ventilation that keeps the insects out, but allows for a pleasant breeze to circulate through the tent. That is especially nice on those humid, hot summer nights.

If luxury in the wild is how your family likes to camp, then the Columbia Gardner Peak Tent is the one for you. This isn’t so much a tent as a convention center. This is one of the large family camping tents that sleep up to 10 people. It was designed to have quick set up and take down abilities and was constructed of a strong polyester blend to ensure its waterproof effects. While it definitely has ventilation, this tent takes fresh air a step further. It has a built in system that removes hot air through the top vents while drawing in cool air from the bottom vents. The Hyatt wouldn’t be more comfortable to stay in. The interior features a privacy screen for changing clothes that is especially important when camping with extended family members.

Large families have a lot of options when choosing from the various large family camping tents. Thanks to the hard work of companies and their engineers, large tents are equipped with the same comfort features as their smaller counterparts.
